Leaving for Sharm El-Sheikh

Hey Everybody! Special mid-day 14 post live from Hurghada International Airport in Hurghada, Egypt. It is 12:30ish local time (5:30ish AM EST). Finally some free internet! I am flying to Sharm El-Sheikh via Egypt Air Flight MS 414, supposed to be taking off at 12:55, but I doubt that will happen. Gotta go! bye!

  1. Updates! Love those updates. Without them I suffer from separation anxiety. Thrilled you're having fun. How does the Christian population celebrate Christmas? Speak with you soon. Love ya.

  2. Local News Update: Cliff Lee is, once again, a Phil-Lee. The soft, somber tones of "Taps" could be heard emanating from the tarnished horns of the Mets Bugle Corps.

  3. When you get to Sharm El-Sheikh, look out for those Israeli stealth sharks. Apparently, the Egyptian authorities are trying to find a way to protect people from shark attacks. They're building observation towers, flying spotter aircraft. I guess no body thought of, you know, telling people not to go in the water.

  4. Did you see this in Egyptian news? Egypt will start a 140-megawatt combined-cycle power plant in February .The plant in Kuraymat, about 100 kilometers (60 miles) south of Cairo, will have a solar capacity of 20 megawatts. The facility will also include turbines that run on natural gas and steam, according to the website of the ministry’s New and Renewable Energy Authority.
